Load g-code, set the stock, then Simulate.
The stock frame: X/Y zero of the g-code sits at the origin offset you set (marked by the small axes in the view); Z zero is the stock top or bottom per the setting. Rapids that would plough through uncut material, cuts off the stock, and spoilboard plunges are flagged automatically. The STL export is the carved result exactly as the machine would leave it — compare it with your design's STL in the CAM preview.
